Maldives - Vilamendhoo Island Resort

Vilamendhoo Island is 900m long and 250m wide and is surrounded by beautiful white beaches and lagoons.

Vilamendhoo Island is 25 minutes by seaplane from Male airport and is situated in the South Ari Atoll. The Maldives offers year-round diving with best times being between November and April.

There are different accommodation options from garden rooms to water villas. During our trip we will be staying in the beach villas. Each room has a beautiful beach view with its own partially open air en-suite facilities. There are two restaurant options for full board guests. Different theme evenings are held with European and local cuisine. Spa treatments and different island excursions are available.

Scuba Diving:

Water temperature are year round between 27-30C.The Maldives offers year-round diving with best times being between November and April.The manta and whale sharks season is from June to October.

The lagoon areas around the Island is nurseries for small sharks and rays. There are more approximately 50 dive sites in the area of the resort. Night dives are done on the house reef.
